Adult and Child Christian Education
We are together to grow in faith through love, forgiveness, and service, as one body of Christ to all of God’s people.
The Christian Education team strives to bring about fellowship and community among God’s people through learning. Education hour is at 9am for all ages.
Ages 4-grade 7 are encouraged to attend Sunday school with our team of education leaders who utilize resources from https://wearesparkhouse.org/. Sunday mornings consist of story-telling, games, singing, and crafts.
Our congregation encourages participation in Organic Youth, a youth ministry program and resource in the Buffalo area. Organic Youth helps us support our youth in grades 1-12 and their families by hosting activities, retreats, and acting as a resource for youth leaders and pastors in the area. Their commitment towards “Growing, Living, Reaching & Serving in God’s Love” helps our youth in exploring their faith no matter where they come from or what they are currently feeling about their relationship with God. Our education team hosts various activities such as a Halloween party, St. Nick night (in honor of a third century Turkish bishop known for his care of the needy and gift giving), the Christmas play, and other events throughout the year. All ages are invited to participate in these events.
During the summer, ALL ages are also invited to participate in a camp hosted at either St. Mark or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Join us for Adult Education at 9am before worship where we dive into the Bible, share stories, and learn together.
Are you between the ages of 21 and 35? A new young adult group is now meeting once a month. See the calendar for dates, times, and locations.
